A class designed for the curious minds, who like to explore through hands on challenges. Kids will engage in open-ended real-life problems where they are meant to be the leader! During each class we will explore a new question through trial and error. Kids will have a blast building, creating, and discovering in a playful manner! Come explore with us! Who knows, you may help build your own raft, create the tallest tower, or even build the farthest launching catapult!

Taught by a former  Elementary Education Teacher (now turned stay at home mom to 3 small kiddos!) Elizabeth Schena M. Ed.

Elizabeth’s classroom was always focused around the student and creating a positive learning environment. Elizabeth strives to create a hands on learning experience that is accessible for all types of learners!

Most currently, Elizabeth has enjoyed being a full time stay at home Mom to her three young kids; Josephine 6, Quinn 4, Mikey 2. Elizabeth recently moved back to her hometown of Newburyport Ma, after spending the last 10 years in Rye NH, and was tremendously grateful to discover the Mom Comm community.
